CAREERS

Design Exceptional Projects. Accelerate Your Career.

At Catalyst Engineering, we are building more than infrastructure, we are building a company where talented engineers can take on meaningful responsibility, work on unique projects, and grow quickly.

We are a senior-led civil engineering and project management firm based in Metro Vancouver, specializing in municipal infrastructure, design-build procurement, land development, and owner’s engineering services. Our team works on projects ranging from municipal capital improvements and major transportation initiatives to one-of-a-kind developments such as Canada’s first inland surf park.

Whether you are an engineer, designer, technologist, or project coordinator, Catalyst offers an environment where you can gain broad exposure to all aspects of project delivery, work directly with experienced professionals, and grow quickly based on your performance.

Why Catalyst Engineering?

Work on Projects You Won’t Find Anywhere Else

Our portfolio includes:

  • Canada's first inland surf park development, including major utility, transportation, and sire servicing infrastructure

  • Mountainside land development projects requiring complex grading, drainage, and utility design

  • Major transportation infrastructure, including a $300M highway interchange project

  • Municipal water, sewer and drainage upgrades

  • Roadway and active transportation improvements

  • Design-build and alternative delivery projects

  • Owner's engineering assignments supporting project planning, procurement, and construction

No two projects are the same, and your work will have a direct impact on the communities we serve.

Accelerated Career Growth

At larger firms, designers often spend years focused on a narrow technical role. At Catalyst, you will be exposed to the full project lifecycle:

  • Concept development

  • Detailed design

  • Permitting and approvals

  • Tendering and procurement

  • Construction administration

  • Client and stakeholder coordination

This broad experience allows you to develop both technical and project management skills and advance more quickly.

Flexible Remote Work

We offer a fully remote position with flexible working hours, allowing you to manage your schedule while maintaining work-life balance.

Direct Access to Leadership

You will collaborate closely with senior professionals who have delivered some of Western Canada’s largest infrastructure projects. Our lean structure means your ideas are heard and your contributions are highly visible.

Real Responsibility

We trust our team members to take ownership. High performers are given opportunities to lead design packages, interface with clients, and manage projects early in their careers.
